Lara Dunstan | Director & Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
(B. Speech Pathology(Honours), CPSP, MSPA)
In addition to her University qualification, Lara is also a Hanen and Sounds~Write certified therapist and has attended formal training with the Stuttering Unit (specifically the Lidcombe Program). Further, to ensure on-going skill development Lara continues to attend regular professional development in all areas related to supporting children’s language, literacy, speech, fluency, voice and social communication skills.
Throughout her professional career Lara has worked within large multidisciplinary teams as well as smaller Speech Pathology teams. Lara works to support clients and families across environments. She has worked in various preschools, schools and high schools to support her clients in achieving their goals.
From a young age Lara knew that she wanted to help others and have a positive impact on the lives of those around her. This is reflected in her clinical practice, as Lara continues to progress with her Speech Pathology career her passion for supporting paediatric clients continues to grow! Lara loves seeing the impact that achieving therapy goals can have on a client and their ability to interact with family and friends.
Lara believes in delivering therapy to the highest standards and following the latest evidence-based approaches.
Living and working in The Shire gives Lara a special understanding of the families that live here and how supportive the local community is. Lara continues to strive to add to the community and support local families.
Lara is out in the community providing support to her clients across a range of environments, one day a week.

Jess | Allied Health Assistant & Administration Support
(B. Psychology (Honours), B. Speech and Hearing Science)
Jess is currently studying her Masters in Speech Pathology.
Initially, Jess joined the team as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA). Working to support our clients in sessions, Jess utilises her wealth of knowledge about children's development and how to support them to achieve their goals.
Further to her amazing work as an AHA, Jess is the driving force behind the Administration team. Jess uses her strong communication skills in combination with her clinical skills to ensure that all our clients and families experience a positive experience from the very beginning!
Jess also heads out and about in the local community to support our Sharks in daycare/school/home.
You will find Jess at Sharks Wednesday - Saturday.

Georgia | Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
(B. Speech Pathology(Honours), CPSP, MSPA)
Georgia is a compassionate and friendly Speech Pathologist at Sharks Speech Pathology, specialising in supporting paediatric clients across a range of areas.
A graduate of the University of Newcastle, Georgia is committed to using evidence-based practices to deliver therapy that is both effective and tailored to the unique needs of each child.
She is passionate about empowering children to develop their communication skills. Georgia works closely with families, carers, and educators to create individualised therapy plans that lead to meaningful outcomes.
As a Sutherland Shire local, Georgia values building strong connections within her community. Her warm and friendly approach ensures that children feel comfortable and supported as they work towards their goals.
Georgia is out in the community providing support to her clients across a range of environments, one day a week.

Isabella | Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
(B. Medical Science (Honours), M. Speech Pathology, CPSP, MSPA)
Isabella is an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech Pathologist at Sharks Speech Pathology, where she supports paediatric clients across a range of areas.
A graduate of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Isabella has embraced evidence-based practices as the foundation of her work. Her goal is to provide therapy that is not only effective but also enjoyable for each child.
She tailors every therapy session to suit the unique strengths and challenges of her clients, ensuring that families feel supported and confident throughout their child’s journey.
As a Sutherland Shire local, Isabella takes pride in fostering strong community connections. Isabella’s approachable nature helps children feel at ease while working towards their goals.
Isabella is out in the community providing support to her clients across a range of environments, one day a week.
